At meetings, supper is at 6.45pm,
(£40, £5 for students)
followed by the talk at 8pm.

In-person Meetings Venue, unless other state: Great Woodhouse Suite, University House, University Road, LS2 9JT

Parking: The roads around University House are available to the public to park i.e. Cromer Terrace, Clarendon Place and Lyddon Place, and arrangements are made with the University Car Parking staff that the 20 or so parking places on University Road may also be used.

Prof Gillian Leng Professor Leng graduated in Leeds in 1987 and gained her MD in Edinburgh. She is now a visiting professor at King’ College London, and President-Elect of the Royal Society of Medicine – the first RSM president to be elected by the membership. She was CEO of NICE during the COVID-19 pandemic and oversaw the creation of the national COVID guidelines. Her talk about NICE's role will include examples from controversial guidelines such as fertility treatment, obesity drugs and e-cigarettes.
